Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream


1. In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 cup of whole milk, 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved.
2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Once the ice cream has reached a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to an airtight container.
4. Cover and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
5. Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and serve immediately.
