Delicious Lasagna


1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large pot, cook 1 pound of ground beef over medium heat until browned.
3. Add 1 chopped onion and 2 cloves of minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
4. Stir in 24 oz of marinara sauce, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of dried basil. Let it simmer for 20 minutes.
5. In a mixing bowl, combine 16 oz of ricotta cheese, 1 beaten egg, and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
6. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
7. Place a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
8. Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles.
9. Top with a third of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
10. Repeat the layers: meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
11. For the final layer, cover with meat sauce and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
12. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
13. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
14. Let the lasagna rest for 15 minutes before serving.
