Classic Bistro Sandwich
1. Slice a French baguette into halves lengthwise.
2. Spread Dijon mustard evenly on both slices of bread.
3. Layer thin slices of smoked ham, turkey breast, and Swiss cheese on one half of the baguette.
4. Add a few slices of ripe tomato and crisp lettuce leaves.
5. Top with a few thin slices of red onion.
6. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
7. Drizzle a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the fillings.
8. Place the other half of the baguette on top.
9. Press down slightly and cut the sandwich into desired portions.
10. Serve immediately or wrap in parchment paper for a perfect to-go meal.
