Coconut Macaroons


1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of shredded coconut, 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
3. Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined.
4. Using a spoon or a cookie scoop, drop small mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the macaroons are golden brown around the edges.
6. Allow the macaroons to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
7. Optionally, you can drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled macaroons for an added touch.
