Stir-Fried Tofu with Veggies


1. Press the tofu to remove excess water and cut into cubes.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add the tofu to the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil.
5. Add 1 chopped onion and 2 minced garlic cloves, and cook until they are softened, about 3 minutes.
6. Add your favorite veggies (such as bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and snap peas) and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes.
7. Return the tofu to the skillet and add 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce, and 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar. Stir to combine.
8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
9. Serve hot over a bed of steamed rice or noodles and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
