Classic Chicken Alfredo


1. Cook 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a skillet with a bit of olive oil over medium heat until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and slice thinly.
2. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat and sauté 2-3 minced garlic cloves until fragrant.
3. Add 1 cup of heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
4. Gradually stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until smooth.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. In a large pot, cook 8 ounces of fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
7. Add the sliced chicken to the Alfredo sauce and stir to combine.
8. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
9. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
10. Serve immediately and enjoy your Classic Chicken Alfredo!
