Butter Chicken
1. Marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, and garam masala. Let it sit for 1 hour.
2. In a large pan, heat oil and butter. Add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
5. Add pureed tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
6. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until it is no longer pink inside.
7. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and a drizzle of cream. Serve hot with naan or rice.
