Simple Brown Rice

1. Rinse 1 cup of brown rice under cold water.
2. In a medium-sized pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
3. Add the rinsed brown rice and a pinch of salt to the boiling water.
4. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 45-50 minutes, or until the water is fully absorbed.
5. Turn off the heat and let the rice sit covered for an additional 10 minutes.
6. Fluff the brown rice with a fork and serve warm.
