Ingredients:
- 2 beef patties
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 burger bun (sesame seed)
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Onion
- Pickles
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
- 1 large onion
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Salt

Instructions:
1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
2. Season the beef patties with salt and pepper.
3. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness.
4. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and let it melt.
5. Toast the burger bun on the grill for a minute or until slightly crispy.
6. Assemble the burger by spreading mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bun. Add lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and the beef patties with melted cheese. Close with the top bun.

For the Onion Rings:
1. Slice the onion into rings about 1/4 inch thick.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
3. Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, then into the buttermilk, and back into the flour mixture to coat well.
4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
5. Fry the coated onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while still hot.

Serve the double cheese burger with a side of crispy onion rings.
