Yummy Pasta with Meatballs
Ingredients:
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 jar marinara sauce
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, approximately 6-8 minutes.
5. Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs in the skillet. Lower the heat and let them simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked.
6. Serve the meatballs and sauce over the cooked spaghetti. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
