Spaghetti Aglio e Olio


1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente.
2. While the spaghetti is cooking, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3. Add thinly sliced garlic to the hot oil and cook until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the pan and sauté for a few seconds.
5. Drain the spaghetti, reserving a cup of the cooking water.
6. Toss the spaghetti in the pan with the garlic and oil, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
7. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
