Deluxe Fried Chicken Sandwich with Extra Pickles
1. Marinate 2 chicken breasts in buttermilk, salt, and pepper for at least 1 hour.
2. In a bowl, mix 1 cup flour, 1 cup breadcrumbs, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Remove chicken from buttermilk, shake off excess, and dredge in the flour mixture.
4. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
5. Fry the chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
6. Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.
7. Toast 4 brioche buns lightly.
8. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun and add a layer of lettuce and a slice of tomato.
