Turnip Jello Salad
1. Peel and thinly slice 2-3 white turnips.
2. Prepare a packet of lemon or lime-flavored gelatin according to the package instructions.
3. Allow the gelatin to cool slightly but not set.
4. Arrange the turnip slices evenly in a mold or dish.
5. Pour the cooled gelatin over the turnip slices, ensuring they are fully covered.
6. Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours or until fully set.
7. To serve, unmold the jello salad onto a serving plate by dipping the mold briefly in warm water and then inverting it onto the plate.
8. Optionally, garnish with a few fresh mint leaves for decoration.
